Where to stayThere’s plenty of accommodation in thevillage. It’s very French in Les Gets, more sothan its near neighbour Morzine (just acouple of km away) but there are plenty ofhotels and numerous chalets and apartmentsI stayed in an utterly gorgeous chalet in thecentre of town. And when I say gorgeous I’mhonestly not exaggerating. Called UrbanCorniche, a nod to the fact that it’s an“urban” escape in the mountains and situatedright in the main hub of Les Gets, it had a hottub and sauna on the balcony. It had a grandpiano, its own bar and an indoor swing. Apool table and chill out zone. The welcomepack included Champagne and snacks. Therewas ski/boot storage and plenty of room forup to 10 people. It was luxurious, elegant andsophisticated but so comfy. I felt pamperedand spoiled - and slept like a baby.If you want special – you’ll absolutely getthat here.
